Is there a fee for clubs and associations that make bill payments online?

Most clubs and associations do not charge additional fees or convenience fees for members making online bill payments through their portals via payment gateways. This is to promote increased adoption of cashless transactions that are more transparent, trackable and convenient for both parties.

However, the payment instrument/provider you opt for during checkout on their online portal may deduct nominal service charges as applicable—such as bank transfer fees for net banking transactions above a point, mobile wallet loading charges, or convenience/processing fees on some cards, usually from the card issuer side. These are standard levies that also apply to other online purchases.
