How do I recharge my FASTag?

There are multiple convenient options to recharge your FASTag account:

  • Netbanking: Log into your bank's netbanking portal and select the FASTag recharge option to make an online transfer from your bank account.
  • UPI: You can recharge your linked FASTag using UPI apps like Shriram One, BHIM, PhonePe, Google Pay, etc. Input your VPA and approve the requested amount.
  • Mobile App: Banks like SBI, ICICI, Axis, etc., offer FASTag recharges from their mobile banking apps. Log in and navigate to the FASTag section.
  • Credit/Debit Card: Most bank portals allow you to use your credit or debit card to top up your FASTag wallet. Enter card details and complete the payment.
  • Cash: Visit the nearest branch of your FASTag-issuing bank to deposit cash for the FASTag recharge.
  • POS Machines: Many petrol pumps and customer service points near toll plazas have POS machines for on-site FASTag recharges via cash or cards.

Check your FASTag balance regularly and recharge it well in time to avoid failed transactions due to low balances at toll plazas. Keep an emergency buffer balance as well.
