How do I find out the due date for my hospital bill?

At most hospitals, bills are to be paid at the time of service or at the time of discharge, and they do not provide due dates on patient invoices.

For planned admissions and surgeries, the estimated bill amount must be paid in advance. The final bill, including all services, utilised and additional expenses, will be calculated at the time of discharge. Any surplus deposits will be returned, and further dues must be paid then.

For ongoing treatments and OPD appointments, bills must be cleared immediately at the billing counter upon receiving the bill.

Hospitals do not usually provide credit facilities. However, please speak to the billing and financial counsellors upon admission or at discharge if you need to arrange for a payment plan depending on your financial situation. They can advise on the next steps.
