How can I pay my electricity bill using a mobile app?

Paying your electricity bill through mobile apps is a very convenient option offered by most electricity providers today.

• Firstly, download your electricity provider's official app on your smartphone - search for 'BSES app' or 'Adani electricity app' etc. Alternatively, you can use third party bill payment apps like Shriram One, Paytm, PhonePe, Google Pay etc.
• Next, register on the app either by entering your electricity account details or the mobile number linked to the account. This will fetch your bill details on the app.
• Select the 'Pay Bill' or 'Electricity Bill Payment' option and enter the bill amount. Choose your preferred payment mode - credit/debit cards, UPI, netbanking etc., linked to the app.
• Validate the bill payment details on the app and confirm the payment using your card PIN or UPI PIN as required.
• The bill amount will be instantly deducted, and you will receive an online payment receipt on the app, which you can share, download or take a screenshot.
