How can I obtain a receipt for my Housing Society maintenance payment?

Collecting an official payment receipt from your housing society as proof each time you pay the recurring maintenance bill is important. Here is how you can obtain it:

  • In case of cash payments, ask the society office counter to provide you with a manual receipt when you submit the monthly dues. Ensure it has essential details like the payment date, the received amount, and the office representative's signature.
  • For online transfers via NEFT, RTGS, or bill desk options, you initially receive an automated digital transaction receipt. However, please also request that the society's administrative office issue an official receipt specifying your flat and payment details for their records.
  • Lastly, for auto-debits, card payments, and UPI apps - check if instant payment receipts are issued digitally by the service itself for your reference.
